Venue

The AGN Across Continents and Cosmic Time Conference 2024 will be held between Durham University and Newcastle University. However, most of the workshop will occur in Durham. We will have a day trip to Newcastle, for which transport will be provided. 

The workshop will primarily be based in the Physics and Astronomy buildings of Durham University 

• at the Ogden Centre West (registration will be on the ground floor from 8am on the Monday morning, lunch/breaks will be on the first floor of this building) 

• and the next door Rochester Building (plenary sessions will be in lecture theatre, Ph8). 

College accommodation will be situated up the hill (on South Road), at Collingwood College, for those who booked it. 

The conference dinner will take place at Grey College.

Durham can be reached from Newcastle airport via a metro and train. Newcastle also has a ferry terminal. Durham can also be reached from other major cities (London, Manchester etc.) via train. More information about transportation options is available here.
